The Independent’s IndyBest recently tested and awarded the Designed for Dogs mattress beds as the ‘Best for Heavy Dogs’ for a reason. Dog owners designed these beds to keep your dog comfortable and relaxed in any space in your home.

Each luxury dog mattress bed features beautiful illustrations and is entirely handmade in the United Kingdom, from the cover to the mattress.

Beneath the easily removable and washable cover, you’ll find a unique deep-filled mattress cushion crafted from a special combination of orthopedic and memory foam crumb.

Unlike typical corovin casings, the inner cushions use a fire-retardant cotton casing, which resists tearing from claws and digging. Internal channels maintain the bed’s shape, ensuring even the heaviest dogs stay comfortably cushioned.

Small – 60 cm x 50 cm – Toy & small breeds such as Miniature Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, Norfolk Terriers

Medium – 80 cm x 55cm Small-medium breeds such as Standard Dachshunds, West Highland Terriers, Cocker Spaniels

Large – 97 cm x 70 cm – Medium-large breeds such as Springer Spaniels, Small Labrador, Whippets

L / XL – 117 cm x 85 cm – Larger Breeds such as Labrador, Golden Retriever, Rhodesian Ridgeback

If unsure always choose the larger as your dog is unlikely to use a bed that is too small but they always love a bigger bed!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

The mattress bed covers are easy to remove by a zip at the back of the bed. Machine wash at 30 degrees then line dry.

Do not tumble dry.

The inner cushions are sponge-clean only.

We recommend ‘fluffing’ your dog bed periodically to loosen up the crumb filling – from standing height drop the cushion on the floor a few times, just like you would with feather cushions.

All of our parcels are sent with Royal Mail. Ordering to outside of the UK?

All of our parcels are sent with Royal Mail on an internationally tracked service. Please be aware that some couriers are still experiencing delays due to Brexit and the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Your parcel may be subject to import or custom fees when it reaches its destination country. Please remember that the RECIPIENT is responsible for any import / custom fees and taxes. These charges ARE NOT included in the shipping cost at checkout. Any fees will be charged to you directly before delivery. You may wish to confirm these fees with your local postal system prior to ordering. Emily Cole Illustrations can not be held liable for any fee incurred and it is the responsibility of the recipient to cover these.

Returns and Cancellations

In the event that there is a problem with your order please get in touch with [email protected] and we will be more than happy to help where possible. Problems with an order will be dealt with on a case by case basis and a replacement or refund will be arranged where appropriate.

Customers have 14 days after the date of purchase to cancel an order without reason and are entitled to a refund. If the order has arrived in that time they will have another 14 days upon giving notification to the seller to return their order. Refunds will be processed in 14 days of the returned items arriving back with the seller. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless there is a fault or problem with the product.
